Wow. what a statement, what a hope! Have you ever thought what happens after death? I do and all the time?. Why? because that is the most important matter we shoul be thinking of while we are still alive and kicking on this earth?, because once we step into Eternity that will be it! Done, dusted, case dismissed!

Jesus rose from the dead and He is the only One who has the key to life and death. For Him to declare that He is the resurrection and the life, it means that He definitely has the ultimate power over death and hell, hallelujah?

So if we want to garantee our eternity with the “WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE” ( John 14:6), we must make sure we are in Jesus’s boat and are part of His winning team?. The following Bible passages explain what to do to have eternal life:

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38 CSB

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:9‭-‬10 CSB

So just like we take life insurance and all kind of other covers in life, let’s make it our first priority to take our Insurance for our Eternal Resting Place with the King Eternal, the Lord Jesus Christ?

Welcome to 2022! To God be all the Glory for keeping us alive and healthy to see this new year.

I woke up this morning with this powerful thought:

LOVE THE LORD MORE THAN EVER THIS YEAR?

In fact the Bible tells us that loving the Lord is the most important and first commandment; and the second is like it ” love your neighbour as yourself”

I know this may sound strange to some people but actually the Bible says that if we follow these two commandments it is like we are fulfilling all the law.

Why? Because GOD IS LOVE. And everything we do must be done with love. Jesus says that by obeying this commandment, people will know we are his disciples. In other words, it is not just by carrying a bible and going about preaching the gospel (which is good and right) but it is mainly by acting with love towards mankind.

I pray that this year we will strive to apply the principles of LOVE in our lives. Having said that, it is  not just an easy thing to do! But as expected God has already provided a solution to every thing?. It is the Holy Spirit that helps us to LOVE with GOD’s kind of love.( Romans 5:5). So if we want to know the God kind of love and spread it towards others, we must ask the Holy Spirit to help us because HE IS OUR HELPER. If you don’t know the HOLY SPIRIT you can by inviting JESUS to come into your heart and be your LORD AND SAVIOUR just as the following passage declares:

I sincerely hope that all of us will know the immeasurable and immense LOVE OF GOD this year and will continue to seek for it more and more in Jesus’s Holy and Wonderful Name.

Wow! The Bible tells us God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. ( 1 John1: 5)

It is interesting to know that Light always overtakes darkness. I remember reading one day from the writtings of a Man of God, he gave an illustration about the effect of light: ” imagine you enter a warehouse where there is no light all, its utter darkness and you happen to have a box of matches. If you light one match, the light of that match will illuminate the all place and you will be able to find your way around.” Wow, powerful ?

Jesus says in the gospel of John chapter 8, verse 12

“I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”

So let us follow the King of “LIGHT” in order to always have the light in front of us.?

In this new year 2022, make the quality decision to follow the LIGHT.
